Matt Anthony

Matt Anthony is a brewmaster, motion graphics artist, designer, editor, and photographer who currently resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is a charter member and Past Master of Veritas Lodge No. 556 in Norman, Oklahoma. Matt is also a member of the Valley of Guthrie, AASR Southern Jurisdiction, as well as a member of the York Rite, and Allied Masonic Degrees. 

Shortly after beginning to question the greater mysteries of life, he was drawn to Masonry while attending the Masonic funeral of his wife's grandfather, a Past Grand Master. Witnessing the intense love displayed by the Brothers in attendance, and hearing the haunting words spoken during the ceremony, caused something ineffable to resonate within, and shortly thereafter he petitioned to join the fraternity. His initiation, as all initiations should, became the catalyst for sweeping personal changes, self realization, and a deeper. unquenchable thirst for knowledge. A love of comparative religion, mediation, and other spiritual practices were all brought to bear by those first steps as a candidate in Masonry.
